NO LESSONS ON MONDAY, 1ST JANUARY

Please note that our Spring Term lessons are scheduled to commence on Tuesday, the 2nd of January. Students who normally attend Monday lessons will have their Week 6 lesson on Monday, 12th February.

We thrilled to invite all our students to take part in our first Trefoil Christmas Writing Competition!
Open to Trefoil students from Year 3 to Year 9, this competition invites participants to craft a captivating and descriptive story depicting the journey of The Three Wise Men.
Entries should be submitted before Tuesday, 2nd January 2024. Please send your entry via email to our English tutor Kishan (kishan@trefoiltutors.co.uk). Three best entries will receive prizes!
We look forward to immersing ourselves in your creative narratives this Christmas break and are eager to discover the stories you’ll create!

After a successful first term of the 2023/2024 academic year, our Christmas Break begins today, with no group lessons taking place between Monday, the 10th of December and Monday, the 1st of January. Lessons will resume on Tuesday, the 2nd of January.

In order to help students practise little and often during their holidays and keep academic regression at bay, our lead Mathematics, English and Science tutors Vivek, Milda and Rebecca have prepared a set of holiday work assignments. Based on the material covered throughout the Autumn Term, the assignments are a great way to help students review the topics from the term just gone as well as make a running start for the term to come.

We would like to remind students and parents that this is the final week of group lessons before we begin our Christmas break. The Autumn Term ends on Sunday, the 10th of December. After the break, all group lessons will resume on Tuesday, the 2nd of January.

ASSESSMENT WEEK REMINDER

As we enter the final week of the Autumn Term, we would like to remind students that those attending Mathematics, Further Mathematics, English, Reasoning, Science, Biology and Economics lessons will be sitting a 30-minute assessment in their lessons this week. Do remember to review your classwork notes and homework assignments in preparation!
SENIOR TUTOR UPDATE - AUTUMN TERM - WEEK 12

In this week's Senior Tutor Update, Vivek reminds parents and students that this is the last teaching week of the Term at Trefoil (although many schools will still have a further week). Two weeks ago, Vivek urged us all to make the most of the final three weeks of term and he now reflects on how well students have taken this advice on.
