FINAL AVAILABLE PLACES IN LESSONS FOR THE 2023 / 2024 ACADEMIC YEAR: MATHEMATICS, FURTHER MATHEMATICS, ENGLISH, REASONING, SCIENCE, ECONOMICS, BIOLOGY AND CHEMISTRY

Connor, Aug. 3, 2023

We are delighted to have registered over 300 students who have already booked their places in our Mathematics, Further Mathematics, English, Reasoning, Science, Chemistry, Biology and Economics lessons for the Autumn Term.

We are now excited to offer the final available places to students who are on our waiting list as well as those who are getting in touch with us for the first time.

Please see the currently available places on our website: https://www.trefoiltutors.co.uk/availability/

At Trefoil Tutors, we are incredibly proud of the quality of teaching and learning we deliver across a range of different subjects. In our small group lessons, our team of qualified teachers and experienced tutors aim to augment and support the work done by schools. Students are taught according to a structured scheme of work and are given weekly homework assignments and regular assessments which are all prepared in-house by our tutors, with weekly individual feedback provided to parents via our personalised online portal.

A far cry away from traditional one-to-one tuition, our lessons take place in purpose-built classrooms in our Elstree office where tutors are supported by a full-time administrative team to ensure they can spend their time teaching. All our tutors are qualified teachers or experienced tutors who are subject specialists and have been DBS checked, fully insured and have attended safeguarding courses run at Trefoil Tutors. These are the standards expected at top schools in the country and we firmly believe tutors should hold themselves to the same standards.

If you would like to join our lessons in the new academic year, or if you would like to learn more about our services, please do get in touch - we look forward to hearing from you!

RECOMMENDED READING LISTS

Connor, Aug. 2, 2023

The Summer Holidays are an excellent opportunity for students to pursue their reading interests without the constraints of a usual school timetable.

In order to encourage students to explore different authors, styles and genres, as well as help them develop a love of literature, our Lead English Tutor Milda has compiled a list of twelve book recommendations for each year group from Year 3 to Year 11. The books on the list range from timeless classics to recent releases.

As they go through the list, students will become familiar with the work of world-famous writers and meet iconic book characters.

Connor, Aug. 1, 2023

We are delighted to share with you the positive feedback contributed by the parents of students who have attended our group lessons and found these enjoyable and beneficial to their learning.

“At Trefoil Tutors, you are regularly updated on your child’s progress. If they have homework they haven’t submitted - you’re notified of that by email. You are fully aware of what is going on and on a termly basis you’ll have a one-to-one consultation with your tutor as well, where you can discuss anything you like and any issues that you might have, or any questions or any anxiety that you might be feeling. You don’t have to chase any of that. And even throughout the course of the term, if you want to call, they’re more than happy to take your calls then as well.”

PARENT TESTIMONIAL - HOLI AND NEEL’S MUM

Connor, July 18, 2023

We are delighted to share with you the positive feedback contributed by the parents of students who have attended our group lessons and found these enjoyable and beneficial to their learning.

“Going through the 11+ process can be quite stressful for parents, especially if you haven’t had a child go through it beforehand, because you aren’t sure of what to do, how to do it, or what schools to apply for. There was a lot of guidance from Vivek and Milda with regards to 11+ preparation and which schools to choose. There was advice available when I needed it. They were able to tell me how my children were progressing through the subject matter, so it gave us confidence in knowing what choices to make in the 11+ journey. They involved the children in the decision-making process as well, so it was really useful.

There’s a wide variety of subjects involved in the 11+: English, Maths and Reasoning. Therefore there’s a lot of subject matter that you can use to help prepare your child. For me it was brilliant, especially when the results and the offers for interviews came out. The support didn’t just stop there either, it was ongoing, right through until the very end of the 11+ programme, which meant you felt fully supported throughout the entire journey.”
