We would like to remind students and parents that this is the final week of group lessons before our Half Term break. Please note that no group lessons will be taking place between Monday, the 25th May and Sunday, 31st May as we close for the Half Term break.

With the 11+ entrance examinations fast approaching, we are delighted to confirm the dates of our Mathematics, English and Reasoning mock examinations, as well as our Quest-style mock assessment that will take place in October and November 2026.

As we enter Week 3 of the Summer Term, we would like to remind students that this is the first assessment week of the Term. Students will be sitting a 20-minute assessment in their lessons this week. Some classes will not be given an assessment this week, for example, Reasoning students and some A Level classes. For these classes, a longer assessment will be given in Week 6.

For those looking for a weekend trip away from London this week, The Oxford University Mathematics Festival takes place on the weekend of Saturday, 9th May and Sunday, 10th May.

National Share-A-Story Month commences today! This month-long celebration was created to appreciate the power of storytelling and story sharing, which provides opportunities to bring children and stories together.

As part of our commitment to provide all-round support to our students and their parents, we are delighted to invite students preparing to sit 11+, GCSE and A Level examinations to attend mock examinations at Trefoil Tutors. Our mock examinations are open to both current and external students.

This can be an incredibly stressful time for not only students but also their parents and it can often be challenging to strike the right balance between revision and respite in the coming weeks.

As we begin the Summer Term, it is often a time when many of our students find themselves wearing their cricket whites, hauling their gigantic cricket bags into the car and knocking-in bats, ready for another exciting cricket season. We thought it would be a good time to share this article from The Cricketer, to add a little extra competition to those Saturday afternoons in the field!

The Junior Mathematics Challenge begins today, with Year 7 and Year 8 students competing for gold, silver and bronze certificates across the country.

The Children's Booker Prize are looking for three children to join them on the judging panel for the first ever Children's Booker Prize, supported by AKO Foundation.
