Lucy, March 21, 2023

In this week's Senior Tutor Update, Vivek reminds everyone that, although some schools are breaking up this week, at Trefoil, we have two more weeks of our Spring Term remaining. He encourages students to use this to their advantage and to begin revising for the Week 12 assessments in earnest. Vivek reminds parents that registration information has been sent out regarding registration for the Summer Term, the Summer lessons for students completing Year 4, 5, 11 and 12 and for the new academic year. Vivek emphasises the importance of returning the Declaration of Interest form. This to help assist the continuity of our lessons in our aim of delivering outstanding long-term teaching and learning as well as assisting parents in the logistics of attending lessons at Trefoil Tutors. Vivek highlights that, this week, parents will be receiving an email from the office team inviting them to book in the termly progress report meetings with their child's tutor. Finally, Vivek informs parents that he and Rebecca will be carrying out their usual academic assessment monitoring regarding the assessments that students sat in Week 9.

SENIOR TUTOR UPDATE - SPRING TERM WEEK TEN

Lucy, March 15, 2023

In this week's Senior Tutor Update, Vivek highlights that this week, students will be receiving two pieces of work in their lessons and therefore two sets of feedback will be provided by their tutor. Students are encouraged to make the most of this opportunity to review their marked work with their tutor's support in class. Vivek reminds that parents of students in Years 5, 10 and 12 will be contacted by our Director of Studies Rebecca about their most recent predicted grades and school preferences. As we enter the final weeks of the term, Vivek also emphasises that tiredness begins to take its toll on students' productivity and it is important to keep that in mind in order to finish the term successfully. Finally, we are recruiting for a number of roles at the moment and looking for a part-time Receptionist and part-time Business Development Manager to join our team.
