We would like to thank the parents and students who attended our UCAS Advice Evening and Personal Statement Workshop on Sunday, the 3rd of July. It was a pleasure to see so many of you taking the initiative to prepare yourselves - both students and parents - for the exciting, albeit potentially daunting, journey to university!
During the event, our Senior Tutor, Vivek Gathani, offered an overview of the UCAS process and the key dates to look out for. Vivek then led a Personal Statement Workshop, offering insight into writing a personal statement in terms of both content and language. Vivek highlighted the do’s and don't’s of personal statement writing and discussed common pitfalls. Throughout the presentation, students and parents were invited to ask questions about the university application process.
