In this week's Senior Tutor Update video, Vivek reflects on one of the busiest weeks of the academic year (so far!). With the event titled "Making the most of Secondary School" coupled with our Year 6 reunion taking place on Saturday, 11th June and the next event titled "11+ advice evening" taking place on Saturday 18th June, it has been a busy but incredibly rewarding few days in terms of advice evenings!
Our two new tutors, Michael and Chris, have run their first lessons in A Level Economics and Further Mathematics respectively. It has been wonderful to see their hard work paying off with two outstanding lessons. Vivek reminds tutees that Weeks 2, 5, 8 and 11 are when the lion's share of our teaching takes place. This Half Term, however, will be unique in that Week 11 will be "exam week" for Years 7 to 10 and tutors have handed out revision checklists this week to aid students in their revision.
Our Registrar Milda thanks parents who have already taken steps to book their places for the new academic year and reminds everyone that we have just over two weeks to complete registration of current students for September. Please do keep the deadline of July 1st in mind for booking your summer lessons, too!
Finally, Milda invites applications for the three vacancies we currently have in our team for a part-time Registrar, Bursar and PA/Nanny.
