In this week’s Senior Tutor Update, Vivek draws attention to the fact that we have now completed the first half of the academic year and good routines should be in place when it comes to students’ learning in the classroom as well as at home. Vivek emphasises that while the lion’s share of teaching and learning does take place in the classroom, students are always welcome to use any remaining classwork practice exercises for their revision before assessment weeks.
As a very important update from our office, we are delighted to say that reflecting on our team’s first aid training in October, we have now purchased a defibrillator. We hope we will never have to use it but in case of an emergency, it is available at our ground floor office.
Finally, our team have already begun preparations for the new academic year; our Registrar Milda will be contacting parents at the end of this week regarding priority registration for the Summer Term. Simultaneously, to ensure continuity in our teaching and learning, we will be asking our existing students to reserve their places for the upcoming academic year. This week, all parents will receive the information booklet outlining the process of booking places in the Summer Term, our August summer lessons and the Autumn Term.
