Additional Mathematics and Further Mathematics group lessons will be taught by Chris Sear, who joins us having completed a PhD in Applied Mathematics at University of Cambridge. Running both Mathematics and Further Mathematics group lessons, Chris will be teaching students from Year 7 to Year 13 in the new academic year and will teach our Further Mathematics students starting next week. With an impressive academic career in the #eld of Mathematics, Chris has spent four years running small group teaching sessions for undergraduate Cambridge mathematicians.
With an approachable and engaging teaching style, Chris has been commended by our students as a tutor who is able to explain complex mathematics in a clear and accessible format. The Further Mathematics classes will begin after the May Half Term Break for Year 12 students, to whom Chris will begin teaching the Year 13 Further Mathematics material. These lessons will take place on Saturdays at 12pm - 1:30pm, starting from the 11th of June. There are six places available in the group; these will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
