MG: How has he been finding lessons, have you seen an improvement in his subject knowledge?
NA: There has been a significant improvement; his subject knowledge has been stretched and he’s constantly being encouraged to think deeper into the subjects that he’s being taught.

MG: In terms of the structure of the lessons, how have you found the group setting?
NA: Dilan absolutely enjoys the group settings. They’re big enough so that the children can interact with each other, share ideas, and I believe that for English especially this is really important that they can do this. Also, they are small enough so that the child can also get their individual attention from the tutor.

NA: Dilan absolutely adores his tutors. The tutors at Trefoil are absolutely passionate, enthusiastic and highly knowledgeable in the subjects that they teach and most importantly they make the lessons fun and engaging. Dilan absolutely loves coming.

MG: What has the experience of working with us been like, for you as a parent?

NA: Our experience with Trefoil has been absolutely amazing, we feel a solid foundation is being built in English and Maths. It’s not only going to help Dilan with his 11+ preparations but I also believe it’s going to help him at the stage of GCSEs as well.

NA: I love the fact that Trefoil is a small, family run business. Everyone from the staff to the tutors are absolutely friendly, they’re always there to answer questions for us. The tutors are absolutely amazing as well. They’re passionate, they’re enthusiastic, they know their subject content. The class sizes are small so your child will get individual attention, and the tailored feedback that we get once a week is absolutely amazing, after their assessments and assignments.
