Trefoil Tutors is an award-winning tuition provider offering specialist small group tuition for Years 3 to 13, in order to augment and support the teaching that students receive in school.

Based on our extensive experience both in and out of schools, preparing for GCSE examinations is most successful when students are able to gradually build an in-depth understanding of and interest in the subject over time.
With this in mind, we invite students to join our GCSE programme in September of Year 9. This allows us to utilise Years 9 and 10 to focus on subject content and only then spend Year 11 troubleshooting the more challenging topics, experiencing Level 9 material, practising past papers and developing exam skills.
Adopting this approach enabled our previous cohort of GCSE Students to achieve an incredible set of results:
85% of our students received a grade 7-9 in the subject(s) they were tutored in
100% of our Mathematics students received a grade 7-9
89% of our English students received a grade 7-9
84% of our students achieved or improved upon their predicted grade
