Our August Summer Lessons are attended by students who have just completed Year 4 and Year 5 with us at Trefoil, as well as students who are taking Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A Level. These lessons are not stand-alone summer revision courses but rather a continuation of the scheme of work for our existing students. The three-week extension of our teaching course is designed to help students avoid academic regression that often sets in during longer holidays, and to continue working through the course in preparation for the upcoming academic year.
Traditionally these lessons are run in the last three weeks of August. Over the course of these three weeks, each student will attend six 90-minute-long lessons, each subject taught twice a week. The lessons will follow a similar set-up to a Half Term of lessons, with an assignment given each lesson and tri-weekly assessments.
This year, our August Summer Lessons will take place between the 11th of August and the 31st of August. We look forward to seeing our students back to the classroom then!
