Today we celebrate Earth Day. Earth Day is an annual event where participants demonstrate support for environmental protection.
The official theme for 2024 is ‘Planet vs Plastics’. EarthDay.org - the official coordinators of Earth Day - aim to encourage a 60% reduction of plastic production by 2040 to improve planetary health. The organisation’s aim is to create a partnership for the planet where everyone is accounted for and everyone is accountable.
